Memories of Doreen. Doreen played many roles in BLODS productions. In particular I remember her delightful portrayal of the character 'Gretel' in 'White Horse Inn' in 1973. 'Gretel' has a lisp and cannot pronounce the letter 'S'. When she meets 'Sigismund' at the Inn and discovers his problem is that he is bald, she happily exclaims "now we are quitth" and when Sigismund calls her "My sweet little lisping pixie-wixie". They go into the delightful comedy duet 'Faities' and it's eccentric dance routine. Varina Verdin (Producer + Choreographer).
